Tis Tuesday 20 July NO internet due to being no signal !! That I can handle BUT we running out of milk SO we heading back to civilization tomorrow to stock up on food/milk/beer.Tried finishing this morning with a more determined & confident attitude !! even had the camera handy BUT? Nothing !! so its back to the bus for lunch and a good old ear bashing with my Rock n Roll music (it also eases my tinnitus !! Generatoris working perfectly & a full tank gives us 10 hrs Full power average cost of fuel is approx $2.00!! Annie caught a fish BUT chucked it back too small !! night ended with the usual Happy Hour (which last about 3 hrs !!) and said goodbye o the nice new pals we made At the risk of sounding repetitive This Life is Good !!
In a SIGNAL area so able to update me blog
Early rise today & very windy so we delayed the fishing & opted to watch a DVD instead ! around noon we attempted to have a go at fishing & I consequently lost a float !! SO?I jumped into the sea and retrieved my float and we gave up on fishing !! We returned ;home; Ann was invited to go snorkelling with one of the camp ladies (Jay) sadly it didn’t last too long due to windy conditions !! We had a cuppa and decided to have another go at fishing ( after I had read up on how to ‘tackle’ up !!) my first cast I caught a 2 foot long tom( don’t ask) it looked like a miniature sword fish !! Annie and me panicked and eventually got the monster into a bucket complete with hook in its mouth we took it to the Park Ranger who duly ( yes he was in fits of laughter too)took it off the hook and at our request released it back into the sea !! and NO cameras around at the time !! ( would definitely won Australia’s Funniest Videos !!) the night ended as we sat at the outside table during happy hour This camping gets better by the day !! Stay tuned !
Updated from Yardie Creek Ningaloo Reef WA
Bright and early today Annie cooked a HUGE breakfast after all, it IS our first wedding Anniversary!! Went for a boat cruise along the Yardie Creek Gorges..Scenery absolutely brilliant (have a look at the Photos),Back to base..this place is great, after re organizing our Motor Home & an afternoon nanna nap we went along to the nightly happy hour session. A couple from New Zealand provided the entertainment and we sang along to the music they made…. Fantastic night!! Annie an me were invited to a Motorhome owned by Butch & his missus Jay for supper. The conversation was quite stimulating with Butch being a Pastor !! & me an Atheist !! Very Windy night !!seems very eerie at 3 am in complete darkness having a pee in the nudie !!! but it works FOUR days now without contact with the outside world !! ie Internet & Phone !!
