Who,s Seasick ? Not us ! The Cruise Continues
THURSDAY, Sea a tad rough and we are told the Milford Sound trip will be cut short due to inclement weather. We did a short thru the very misty Dusky Sound (Resolution Island) sighting Penguins, Seals and a variety of Birds. The views were breathtaking with an occasional absolutely fantastic waterfalls putting on a brilliant display. Sadly due to inclement weather we missed out on Milford Sound (one of my worldwide favourite places) Waters were at this point very calm BUT it was freezing out on deck !We ventured into the Atrium and a paper making/flight planes was in action and it was great fun especially for the kids. After dinner we caught the show put on by a magician/comedian, sadly it turned out to be very boring so it was back to the Ocean Room for us and a quiz that we had NO chance of winning. A late adult show was on around 10,15 pm BUT again women swearing to make it look funny doesn’t appeal to us (Annie could tell better jokes!) Back to the Ocean room for more Karaoke fun and at one stage a lady jumped on stage and joined in my rendition of When I’m 64! Helped young Matt with a song I have never heard of? Still good fun tho, got to bed around midnight after another fun filled day
It was also VERY cold here..had to change me shorts and put a jacket on !!
