hello everyone,people on my travels are telling me The Comments part of my blog is hard to use SO I have installed a Guestbook & it should appear on the right hand side Simply (hopefully) click on my guestbook and away you go ALL comments are appreciated whether good,bad or indifferent I will even accept abuse from them I know !!! We are hopeful we can get back on the road by the end of the month & blogs will re commence then……..
Back in Perth for a few days
We are currently back in Perth and will be here a few days while our affairs here are sorted Hopefully back on the road in a short while & the Blog will continue
Dubai Part Deux (the way back to Oz)
We are now in Dubai on our return trip to Australia.The Hotel Belvedere is excellent.Large rooms,cooking facilities,TV and a verandah. Included breakfast is also recommended .We visited the Dubai Mall that can only be described as a MASSIVE shopping complex with lots of internal entertainment,including a Skating rink,indoor waterfall with permanent divers in it (see photo for better description) Cinema, lots of kiddie entertainment.More spectacularly is the Huge (highest in the world) Tower outside that has lights fitted from bottom to the top of its ONE kilometre high tower top that display in sequence when the Water Fountain display directly below the tower is in full working mode (massive water fountins that “dance” to music) All this on our first day here.The window cleaners actually dangle from ropes and is an awesome sight. Tomorrow will no doubt reveal more of this wonderful place.
