Sarina Palms Caravan Village tribute
We pulled into the park with a Broken TV aerial and mentioned it to the Palms owner, without hesitation he was on top of our motorhome checking the damage. He took out the broken part, drove me 40 kms to nearest town Mackay where the loveliest couple at the parts shop served us Dennis promptly re fixed our aerial and it is now better than before!! He wouldn’t accept any token of appreciation so today’s blog is devoted to he & his wife Judy.Sarina Palms Caravan Village is the best we have visited in this past year of travelling. Each day morning & afternoon tea are provided daily for free.Regular FREE sausage sizzles are a feature of this well maintained very tidy & clean park Judy also grows beautiful orchids SO if in this area DO stay here and admire the great effort Dennis & Judy have put into this place
20,000 Kms,12 months & still going strong
Today marks our first anniversary of travelling & coincides with us notching up 20000 kms around Australia (in which we had 3 months in UK & USA) We have met a variety of very interesting people, seen lots of places that I have only dreamed about We have had accidents, heat, cold, rainstorms and strangely hardly any flies We have found our next home base in Hervey Bay,Annie and I have had our wanting to kill each other moments BUT I wouldn’t swap any of our past adventures for anything Hopefully this life after work that we enjoy SO much will continue for years to come
