Llandudno & treasured memories
We stayed at an Hotel than nestles around the Llandudno (Wales) pier.The exterior of the hotel was not a good sign appearing to be old and in a state of disrepair BUT once inside it was like going back into the Victorian era !!The decor was magnificent,staff on the whole were brilliant.Our 4 th floor room boasted an outside balcony over the sea and looking directly along the pier The views were tremendous.The breakfast was incredible (typical FULL english) Nightly entertainment was first class & kept us entertained for most of the evening.Llandudno for me has lots of memories of when my dad took me and my younger brother Brian on regular trips here (he had family here) My paternal granma is buried in a lovely church ( St Tudnos ) atop of the Great Orme mountain .The weather held and we had the best time. The hotel is called The Grand and is well worth a stop over Our time in UK is gradually coming to an end BUT we have hired a car and will travel into Scotland next
Around the Fylde Coast (Blackpool) on a 24 hr £3 bus pass
The Fylde coast stretches from Lytham St Annes to Knott End and takes in the Preston area this is a great site for EXACT areas http://www.fredmoor.com/thefylde/fylde.htm We took the local bus over the day and covered a lot of area Lytham is a lovely place and just right for us oldies to retire to!! Poulton is a very old village type and has so much history that it is mentioned in the Doomsday Book !! Annie loved all the old artefacts (including the one giving the tour !!) on show along the Fylde Coast and was excited at spotting the fist Snowdrop flowers of 2011 !!For all you historian try the link above (Copy & Paste would work)

Brother Brian & wife had their 45 th anniversary & it was a brilliant night Lots to eat More Booze than in a brewery a bit of Karaoke n dancing recipe for a great night.Treesha did her bit at the end by singing with her family Annie did the family thing during the day & helped make the food up during the day enjoying herself immensely getting into my family way ! Her drink is now tia maria with a bottle of coke and she is turning into a competant lush !! we got to bed around 3 am and stayed in bed till noon !!! Few people couldnt mke the night coz of illness etc
Count down to my brothers 45 th wedding anniversary on Saturday
Since arriving back from Las vegas we stayed overnight in London & because of my gout attack I stayed in the hotel while Annie went off with her brother & his wife to see Phantom of the Opera ( fortunately I’ve seen it !!) and they had a very enjoyable evening.We are now back in Blackpool,building up to the social event of the year !! My brothers 45 th.Annie has been down to the local greasy cafe & is getting some practice in to improve her eating skills !! Whilst there is a lull in this blog Saturdays BIG Party should have some good Photos taken which of course will be entered into this blog shortly after in an attempt to keep the readers interested !

Farewell Las Vegas hello Blackpool
A few last pictures of our time in Las Vegas.We have had a BALL !! and recommend it to you all ! Parts are very tacky especially the bloody street vendors who insist on trying to sell girls !! I have collected a few of the cards and offered them back to the vendors (strange how they look miffed !!)The hotel isnt the best BUT liveable & the staff are very pleasant Food is in abundance and I fear I am about to suffer a severe bout of GOUT !! We are now looking forward to my brothers BIG 45th wedding anniversary Saturday next and a great fun filled night is guaranteed !! FAREWELL LAS VEGAS
Las Vegas Airport while we await our flight Planes & MORE Planes. enjoy !!
Had a couple of hours to wait before departing back to dear old Blighty & we were blessed with a front window view of Planes that use the Vegas airport SO all you plane spotters be very envious of pictures taken (plus it helped the waiting time to pass quickly !!)

Around the Bellagio Hotel
The Holiday is nearing the end & we are still finding places to visit It is never ending in this city Meals are HUGE .Annie is starting to spend the house keeping on the pokies & probably needs help when we get back to Oz !!It has been a fantastic place to visit The time has gone SO quickly My next blog will probably be the last from the strip in Vegas & will feature lots of pics in slide show Stay tuned
