Labour Weekend in Hervey Bay
This weekend provided AN ANTIQUE CAR drive around. Spruced up cars (and the odd Ute and even a caravan!)drove up and down the Esplanade in Hervey Bay for a few hours and stopped regularly for spectators to ask questions, normal traffic were able to join in the cavalcade at any time (which we did!) to enjoy the spectacle by taking part. I counted at least a 100 of the cars ans what I enjoyed most of all was the freedom to walk along the beach front without the crowds that normally attend these functions (one of the main reasons we relocated here too) People in the crowd, driving the cars were at all times very friendly and the day passed all too quickly.Because of the large number of cars involved I will do 2 or 3 blogs with more pictures I have taken of the event.Im not normally a car enthusiast, matter of fact my last car was white !!
