Last full day afore Homeward Bound sadly
Sunday Sleeping is easy in this Unit and we rose around 8 am we are on our way again towards Lenthal Dam ( around 40 kms from home) Driving was quite good and NO traffic UNLESS we slowed for a photo !! We arrived around midday after Annie got us lost on the dirt track BUT a quick phone call to the Ranger sorted us out ~!After booking in ( $15 for the night) we checked the Unit and found it had come loose !! Fortunately there is an emergency pack that we utilised with great success !The main holding chains had somehow loosened!.We were proud with the speed we fixed the problem without a nervous break down and not a tear to be had! Our campsite is on the edge of the very well kept grassed area leading onto the Lake shores ( water levels are approx 2 1/2 metres down ! Several large Goanna,s were to be seen ambling around the park without a care in the world,Later in the evening the Ranger came and a good chat with us about the ways of the world (methinks he was bored) My camera is still flat and I have missed some great photo shot s ! Its been a very windy day and these past 3 days we have witnessed all weathers except snow! We have noticed a few things that need to be solved and quick calls to the 4×4 & Palomino will sort us out .The night stars were once again out and gave another wonderful free show.Back tomorrow with stuff & complaints to be made
Our next trip for me is too far awat I want to go NOW !! Annie has reminded me my brother & wife are here in 2 weeks and to be patient ! Me? Patient? Always !!
